A televised confrontation of presidential candidates is always a special challenge for any TV station. For the 2014 presidential elections in Croatia, Temma-X designed and constructed two studio sets for presidential debate for the two largest commercial TV stations: RTL and Nova TV.

Although the basic principles of a minimalistic and elegant set design were employed for both sets using the same colour scheme and national symbols, the studios still clearly differed from each other. A good audience response on both TV stations showed that the set designs managed to emphasise the symbolism and the importance of the broadcasted events.
